Twittering Tradescantia! The next SMS you get may be "OMG FEED ME SEYMOUR. FML". It could happen! And how about a hybrid, robotic lawnmower?

The gadget manages both mowing and charging automatically and is suitable for areas up to 1/2 acre at a time. When the battery needs recharging the mower returns to the charging station, charges and then continues mowing. The mower can be adjusted to lawns with a complicated shape using settings via the keypad and display.

Robot lawn mowers cost some green, usually $1,000 and $3,000.

Hold onto your iPhone, there's a device called Botanicalls which Twitters to you depending on plant moisture levels. The new gadget is an upgrade from an earlier model that enabled plants to make a phone call to their owners when they needed water.

Imagine a Tweet that said, "You didn't water me enough." followed by a Tweet from your friend, "Hey go home and water your plants, they're dying." Is it Big Brother Bromeliad?

The device creator assures people that Botanicalls is not intended to create a robotic garden, instead it is to re-engaging people with nature and get them to pay attention to their plants. ThinkGeek has plant kits for $99.99.
